Fundraiser: N95 Masks For Front Line Medical Staff

The automotive community is coming together to help raise money and send N95 masks directly to healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 epidemic. Javad Shadzi of 034Motorsport has created a GoFundMe page where individuals can make donations here.

“After a post yesterday on Facebook where we mentioned we were shipping 1,000 N95 masks out, we received disturbingly high amounts of messages from healthcare workers across the country in dire need of PPE supplies, some resorting to reusing 10-day-old masks while handling patients in crowded hospitals,” said Shadzi. “We knew that more had to be done, and ordered 20,000 additional masks yesterday afternoon to send out. As the night has gone on, so have the messages, showing us that more must be done.”

Shadzi noted, despite their best efforts, that there is a very limited amount of masks they can buy purely on their own, so they thought they must bring in more resources to make this effort bigger. Therefore, they are calling on the motorsports community to join them in this effort of getting critical protection supplies to our healthcare workers on the front lines across the U.S.

All donation proceeds will go towards the procurement and delivery of N95 masks to be sent to medical centers in need. If you or a loved one are in dire need of N95 masks at a medical facility you work in, please message or email social@034motorsport.com with shipping information and they will do their best to send supplies.
