O’Fest Update: Registration On Record-Breaking Pace

Registrations for the 50th Annual BMW CCA O’Fest presented by Michelin are pouring in at a record-breaking pace. If the trend continues, this will become the largest and most epic gathering of club members ever held! The excitement surrounding the anniversary year, along with the appeal of visiting the BMW Performance Center, BMW Plant Spartanburg, and the club’s new national campus have fueled the phenomenal response. If you haven’t yet registered and booked a hotel room for O’Fest, we encourage you to do so now. You do not want to miss out on any of the amazing activities that are planned.

To accomodate everyone, we’ve secured a second host hotel—the Hyatt Place—which is just a few blocks from the Hyatt Regency. Rooms are available at the Hyatt Place for $159 plus tax, per night with free parking. If you are interested in booking a room, register for O’fest first, then you will receive the booking link in your confirmation email. For more information, visit the O’Fest lodging page here. Some members may recall the last Greenville O’Fest held back in 2000, which ended up having three host hotels due to the sheer volume of participants. Just like in 2000, we will continue to add more room blocks at special club-negotiated rates to meet demand.

When it comes to specific-event sign ups we have, of course, seen incredible interest in the BMW Performance Center’s programs. A third session of the $99 half-day driving program that includes lunch, has just been added and spots remain available, but don’t delay! And, if you plan to attend some of the week’s dinners, make sure to register now as those are expected to reach capacity soon. If you are interested in a BMW factory tour, the schedule, details, and a special registration link will be released in the coming weeks. We are awaiting this information from BMW Plant Spartanburg and will email all registered attendees once it becomes available.

Throughout the week there are also many events available at no extra cost to registered attendees including the festival of BMW cars and motorcycles at the performance center, the BMW CCA headquarters grand opening presented by Hagerty, the Dinan Beer Garden, vendor hall receptions, tech talks from our sponsors, and more!

To learn about everything planned for O’Fest and to see the full schedule of events, make sure to visit the official website here. We look forward to welcoming you to the world center of all things BMW this October 15-19!—Chris Hennecy
