Around the country, all of the BMW CCA’s 68 chapters have members with interesting stories and interesting cars. The Golden Gate Chapter, in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, has started a video series to discuss in candid fashion how members got started in the BMW CCA, and what keeps them involved in the BMW CCA lifestyle.
This week, the Golden Gate Chapter puts the video blog spotlight on Jeff Cowan, a longtime GGC member who joined the board in the 1990s and has been creating events and involved in chapter activities ever since. Cowan is now a member of the BMW CCA National Board as well, having held the position of Pacific Region Vice President since 2010. But like most members of the BMW CCA, it all started wth the cars and the people in his local chapter.
Cowan’s story, and prior to that Golden Gate Chapter President Athena Brekke’s, are just some of the many member experiences that BMW CCA chapters can share. Do you have a cool story or video from your local chapter? Send us your stories using articles@bimmerlife.com and you just might see them on the site!—David Rose
