Video: BMW CCA Member Profile Series

While we at BimmerLife know that enthusiast stories are everywhere, we always like to take a moment to bring some of them to light—and to display the wide-ranging passions and interests that bring the BMW community together.

This new video series provided by the BMW Car Club of America showcases the stories of a few members, sharing compelling stories from enthusiasts around the country. This opening piece featuring San Diego Chapter BMW CCA member Dan Tackett is an excellent example of everything we’ve come to love in the BMW CCA.

From the first years of membership autocrossing a rebuilt 2002, importing an E21 323i Baur, and building a series of track M3s, to his role as chief driving instructor of the San Diego Chapter and the enviable opportunity to instruct on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschliefe, Tackett traces the excitement of the BMW community back to a 35-year involvement with the BMW CCA.

Know someone who should join in the fun? Send them over to bmwcca.org/join and invite them to all the driving events, car corrals, autocrosses, HPDEs, and enthusiast events the BMW CCA has to offer!—David Rose
